THE BEST MODEL OF THE WORLD SINGAPORE 2008

This will be the 21st year, this event will be organized.

This contest had its most successful year in 1998 and saw Annetha Ayyavo win the Best Model of the World 1998 in Istanbul Turkey, Christina Yeow as first runner up at the Miss Model of the World 1998 and Male Look of the Year 1998, Alex Hun won the Best Male Model of Asia.

There are two categories in this contest.

There will be a winner in female category, namely The Best Model of Singapore 2008 .
In the male category the title will be The Best Male Model of Singapore 2008.

The Best Male Model of Singapore 2008 contest is open to all eligible females & males in Singapore and the qualification for eligibility are that each applicant:

Female Category: Shall be at least 18 years of age on 15th September 2008 and not older than 26 years of age on or before 1st December 2008

Shall be the following: -

	Who is a natural female by birth and of good moral character;
	Who has never previously won any of the titles in the Singapore Model Awards
	Shall be a citizen of Singapore or a permanent resident (Permanent residents must continue to reside in Singapore for at least one year from the date of commencement of The Best Female Model of Singapore 2008).
	Shall be not less than 5ft 8in or 1.72m;

Male Category: Shall be at least 18 years of age on 15th September 2008 and not older than 26 years of age on or before 1st December 2008.

Shall be the following: -

	Who is a natural male by birth and of good moral character;
	Who is not a previous winner of Manhunt or Male Look Of  The Year Competitions
	Shall be a citizen of Singapore or a permanent resident (Permanent residents must continue to reside in Singapore for at least one year from the date of commencement of The Best Male Model of Singapore 2008).
	Shall be not less than 5ft 10in or 1.78m;
